1. About these terms of service
This website is run by Achtis Ltd, trading as Achtis Group. “We”, “us” and “our” mean Achtis Ltd. We are registered in England & Wales under company number 08387561, with our registered office at 1 Peryton Park, Peryton Way, Europarc, Grimsby, N E Lincolnshire, DN37 9TL. Our main trading address is 1 Peryton Park, Peryton Way, Europarc, Healing, Grimsby DN37 9TL. Our VAT number is GB 157 8554 68.
These terms apply when you use this website and when you buy products or book training courses from us. Please read them before you order. By placing an order you agree to them. If you don’t agree, please don’t order from us.
Some parts of these terms apply differently depending on whether you’re buying as a consumer (for yourself, not for a business) or as a business. Where that’s the case, we say so.
2. Using our website
You must be 18 or over to place an order.
Please don’t use our website for anything unlawful, to send viruses or harmful code, to collect other people’s personal data, to copy or scrape our content in bulk, or to try to get round our security.
We may suspend or restrict access to the website, or to your account, if you break these terms.
3. Information on our website
We work hard to keep product information, technical guidance and prices accurate and up to date. Guidance on our website is general. For a specific project, please contact us or follow the product’s data sheet and application manual.
We show colours and finishes as accurately as we can, but screens vary and many of our finishes are applied by hand, so the finished surface won’t exactly match a photo. If colour matters, ask us for a sample or colour chart before you order.
4. Prices
Prices are shown in pounds sterling and include VAT unless we say otherwise. Delivery charges are shown at checkout before you pay.
We may change our prices at any time, but changes won’t affect orders we’ve already accepted.
If we’ve made an obvious mistake with a price, we’ll contact you before dispatching. You can then choose to go ahead at the correct price or cancel for a full refund.
5. Products
We may limit how many of a product you can buy, and we may stop selling a product at any time.

5.1 Your right to cancel
If you are buying as a consumer, you can cancel your order for goods without giving a reason within 14 days, starting the day after you (or someone you nominate) receive the goods. If your order arrives in more than one delivery, the 14 days start the day after the last part arrives.
To cancel, tell us clearly before the 14 days end, by emailing orders@achtis.com or writing to our trading address.
Please return the goods within 14 days of telling us you are cancelling. Unless we sent them in error or they are faulty, you pay the cost of returning them. Please keep the goods safe and in their original condition until they reach us. We may reduce your refund if they have been handled more than necessary to check them.
We will refund the price you paid, including our standard delivery charge, within 14 days of receiving the goods back or of you showing us you have sent them, whichever is sooner. We refund to your original payment method.
The right to cancel does not apply to:
- goods made to your specification or personalised, including products pigmented or tinted to your chosen colour;
- goods that are liable to deteriorate rapidly, or sealed goods that are unsuitable for return once opened for health or hygiene reasons.
Training courses: you can cancel a course booking within 14 days of booking. If your course date falls within those 14 days, you agree that the course can go ahead within the cancellation period. You lose the right to cancel once the course has taken place.
Business customers: these cancellation rights apply to consumers. If you are buying for a business, please see our Returns policy or contact us.
Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights, including your rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 if goods are faulty or not as described.
5.2 If we cancel or move a training course
Occasionally we may need to cancel or move a course, for example if too few people book or a trainer is unwell. If we do, we’ll tell you as soon as we can, and you can choose either a full refund of your course fee or a place on another date.
We’re not responsible for travel or accommodation you’ve booked, so we recommend booking flexible travel where you can.
6. Orders and your account
Your order is an offer to buy. We accept it when we email to confirm it’s been dispatched or, for training courses, when we confirm your booking. Until then, we may decline an order, for example if a product is out of stock, we can’t deliver to your address, or we’ve made a pricing error. If we decline an order after you’ve paid, we’ll refund you in full.
Please give us accurate contact, billing and delivery details, and keep your account details up to date. Keep your password safe. You’re responsible for orders placed through your account unless they were placed without your permission.
For returns, see our Returns policy.
7. Other websites and tools
Our website links to other websites and may include tools provided by other companies, such as payment, reviews and maps. We don’t control them and we’re not responsible for their content. Their own terms and privacy policies apply.
8. Feedback and reviews
If you send us ideas, feedback, reviews or photos of your projects, you agree that we can use them, for example on our website or social media. We’ll credit you if you ask us to. Please don’t send anything that’s unlawful, offensive or someone else’s work.
9. Your personal data
Our Privacy policy explains how we use your personal data and how we use cookies.
10. Our responsibility to you
If you’re a consumer:
- If we break these terms, we’re responsible for loss or damage you suffer that is a foreseeable result of that. We’re not responsible for loss that wasn’t foreseeable.
- We’re not responsible for business losses. Our website and products are sold for domestic and private use, except where they’re clearly sold for trade use.
- Products must be stored, used and applied according to their data sheets and application manuals. We’re not responsible for problems caused by incorrect application, unsuitable substrates or surface preparation, or not following our instructions.
- Nothing in these terms affects your legal rights. That includes your right to goods that are as described, of satisfactory quality and fit for purpose, and your right to services carried out with reasonable care and skill.
If you’re a business:
- We’re not liable for any loss of profit, revenue, business, goodwill or data, or any indirect or consequential loss.
- Our total liability for any order is limited to the price you paid for that order.
For everyone: we don’t exclude or limit our liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud.
11. If you break these terms
If you’re a business customer, you agree to cover any losses we suffer as a result of claims made against us by others because of your breach of these terms.
12. Other legal terms
- If a court decides that part of these terms is invalid, the rest still applies.
- If we don’t enforce a right straight away, we can still enforce it later.
- These terms, together with our Returns policy and Privacy policy, are the whole agreement between us for orders placed on this website.
- We may transfer our rights and obligations under these terms to another organisation. If we do, we’ll tell you, and it won’t affect your rights.
13. Governing law
These terms are governed by English law. Any contract for the purchase of goods from this site and any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with any such contract will be governed by English law. You and we both agree that the courts of England and Wales will have non-exclusive jurisdiction. However, if you are a resident in Northern Ireland you may also bring proceedings in Northern Ireland, and if you are a resident in Scotland you may also bring proceedings in Scotland.
14. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The version on this page when you place your order is the one that applies to it.
