Rialto Eco Fondo has a white opaque sandy appearance. It is mainly composed of a special vinyl copolymer and selected aggregates like marble dust, titanium dioxide and special additives.

One thing to note is that this product can not be used where there is evidence of damp, tannins (staining) or mould. Similarly they will not adhere to greasy surfaces or surfaces protected with silicon or similar coatings.

Working Instructions - to get the best finish please follow
Apply rialto eco fondo directly over dry and clean gypsum board/drywall; not to use in case of evident signs of dampness, tannins or mould
On new plasters wait at least 28 days for complete drying,
On old plasters, remove loose and dusty paints, remove possible grease stains, and verify that surface has not been previously treated with silicon protective coating or similar colourless paints - restore possible damages with mortar and let it dry for at least 28 days before applying rialto eco fondo
If necessary, smooth down the surface using rialto wallcem before applying rialto eco fondo
If the surface is dusty or too absorbent, apply a coat of rialto primer diluted with 10 parts of water in order to reduce absorption before applying rialto eco fondo
Clean brushes and any other tools with water immediately after use
