Rialto Wallcem Bianco – Levelling Plaster

White Levelling Render – for interior and exterior surfaces.

This levelling render is formulated with white cement, high aluminium-content cement, hydrated lime, specially selected spherical sands, synthetic fibres, and performance-enhancing additives.  It is  can be used as:-

  • a finishing product
  • crack and patch repair
  • levelling render for walls and ceilings.

It is an ideal product to level and finish walls either in it’s own right or as a smooth based coat for more decorative mineral based products such as lime plasters and paints.

Wallcem can be used as a final levelling coat for partially restored plaster surfaces

Can be used on old and new surfaces

Gives a decorative appearance of fine white plaster

Can be applied to:

  • fine plasters
  • coarse plasters
  • concrete and reinforced concrete
  • prefabricated elements

Working Instructions

Surfaces to be treated should have no grease stains and should not have been previously treated with silicone water-repellent or
similar products. Remove any loose material and level uneven sections to make surface sound.

Dampen with water before application of rialto wallcem bianco

For the restoration of slightly friable and/or dusty plaster, a coat of rialto primer diluted with 1:8 water should be applied first

In a clean receptacle, mix 1 part of water and 2.5 parts of rialto wallcem bianco until a creamy mortar of workable consistency
is achieved

Rialto wallcem bianco must be applied within 50 minutes after mixing, at a temperature of 20°C (68°F)

The product will solidify in two hours by hydration, therefore prepare product in a quantity that can be applied within 50
minutes, and touch up before hardening.  Finish using a wet sponge trowel when it starts solidifying in order to obtain a 
“fine plaster-like” effect.   Or level using a stainless steel trowel in order to obtain a smooth plaster surface.

Maximum thickness that can be applied in one coat: 5 mm

Do not apply rialto wallcem bianco at temperatures below 7 °C (44°F) or higher than 30°C (86°F) and relative humidity of the air > 80%.

Never apply product in windy weather or on surfaces either frozen or overheated by the sun

Store product in a dry place, arranged on pallets, for no longer than 12 months
