Stucco finish with a metallic effect for interiors, for use over a range of surfaces

Available in four distinctive metallic colours — Gold (Oro), Silver (Argento), Bronze (Bronzo) and Copper (Ottone).

Can also be used as an accent over Rialto Veneziano, Ottocento, Epoca Spatolato, Epoca Marmo and Antiqua, giving a metallic sheen that varies with application method and sub-base.

Working Instructions

Clean the surface and remove any loose material, filling in where necessary.
If the surface is dusty or coated with old chalky or flaking paint, apply a coat of Rialto Primer diluted 1:8 with water first.
Apply a coat of Rialto Zip, diluted with 15% water, to ensure an even colour for the first coat.
Apply a coat of Rialto Evolution with a stainless steel trowel, about 0.3mm thick.
Once dry (usually 6 hours), apply a second coat of Rialto Evolution with a trowel or spatula, without polishing.
Apply one or two coats of the metallic stucco using the traditional Venetian spatula technique, allowing 1 hour between coats.
Wipe down with a soft cloth to remove excess material and achieve the desired effect.
Do not apply below 7°C (44°F) or above 30°C (86°F).
Store between 5°C (41°F) and 40°C (104°F).
