Can anyone apply it?
“I had no contracting experience. I’d never even picked up a trowel. Now, at 22, I’ve learnt everything I know about applying microcement just from being around my colleagues and watching them work. And honestly, I found it surprisingly easy to pick up.”
Brandon, who joined our warehouse team at the end of 2021
Brandon’s experience shows that Politura, ErreFast and ErreLAB can all be learnt, even without a trade background. That said, it isn’t a casual DIY project. Microcement rewards consistency, care and a willingness to practise, more than credentials.

Questions about applying microcement
Do I need a qualification?
No. You need an understanding of surfaces, substrates, drying times and layering, and the patience to follow the process.
Can I learn on the job?
Yes. Unlike many trades, microcement can be learnt by watching and practising, with the right support. First-timers sometimes do better than experienced trades, because they follow the steps exactly.
What if I can’t do it myself?
We have experienced customers all over the UK who use our products, and we’re happy to put you in touch. If you already have a tradesperson you trust, they can come on one of our courses.
Do you offer training?
Yes. We run hands-on one- and two-day courses at our Grimsby training centre, with no more than four people each. See our training courses for dates and prices.
