Rialto lime plasters and paints
Breathable decorative plasters and paints for walls, made in Italy from seasoned slaked lime, for new builds and restoration. Some finishes also go on outside walls.

What it is
Rialto is the lime range from the Covema group, which has more than 50 years’ experience in decorative coatings. Every Rialto product starts with slaked lime that has been seasoned for a long time, made to traditional Italian recipes and blended with marble, natural pigments and mineral additives.
Lime lets walls breathe. Moisture passes through rather than being trapped, which helps prevent damp, blistering and mould, and makes lime ideal for older buildings. Its high alkalinity naturally resists mould, and as it cures it reabsorbs carbon dioxide from the air.
The range covers fine plasters, Venetian stucco, marmorino, thick textured plasters and lime paint, from soft, velvety walls to polished marble and natural stone effects, in over 300 colours. See them all on our Rialto colours page.
Rialto is for walls only, never floors. Every finish can be used on interior walls (but not in bathrooms or wet areas), and Epoca Marmo, Antiqua and Epoca Ottocento can also go on outside walls.
