Rialto Epoca Spatolato is a true Venetian plaster that combines traditional craftsmanship with modern performance. Made from seasoned slaked lime, natural pigments, oxides, and mineral additives, it’s ideal for both interior and exterior applications. Its glossy, marble-like finish improves with age, acquiring deeper tones over time. The plaster’s high water vapour permeability allows walls to breathe, reducing blistering, delamination, and mould, enhancing durability.
The magnesium in the slaked lime provides excellent workability, resulting in smooth, durable surfaces. It can be applied alone for a classic Venetian effect or over Rialto Antiqua using a fresco technique to enhance its marble-like appearance. With strong adhesion and abrasion resistance, it’s perfect for renovation projects, offering a timeless, polished finish that suits both Renaissance and modern architectural styles.
