Picture one smooth surface running from the kitchen to the garden door, with no grout lines to scrub. We’ll help you choose the right finish for every room, send samples so you can see and feel it first, and either put you in touch with someone local to apply it or train you to do it yourself.

Choose with confidence
A new floor or wall is a big decision, and the worry is usually the same: will it suit the room, and will it last? So we start with samples and an honest conversation with our technical team in Grimsby, not a sales pitch. We’ve worked with microcement since 1993, and we’ll only recommend a system that’s right for where it’s going.
Microcement is laid by hand in thin layers, about 2–3 mm in total, so every floor and wall is unique. It’s extremely hard wearing too: the same Politura we supply for homes has been on the shop floor at SEVENSTORE in Liverpool for six years, with nothing more than daily cleaning.

Questions from homeowners
Will it work in my bathroom?
Yes, with the right system. ErreLAB is water resistant at every layer, so it can go in showers and wet rooms. Politura and ErreFast suit bathrooms away from direct water. Lime isn’t suitable for bathrooms at all. See microcement in bathrooms.
Can it go over my tiles?
Yes, with ErreLAB, if the tiles are well bonded and properly prepared. Politura has no tile primer of its own, so with Politura we recommend taking the tiles off first. See microcement over tiles.
Can I do it myself?
You can learn, but it isn’t a casual DIY job: it rewards care and practice. Our one-day courses at our Grimsby training centre have no more than four people. If you’d rather not, we’ll put you in touch with someone near you. See applying microcement.
How do I find someone to apply it?
Many of our customers across the country apply our products for a living. Tell us where you are and we’ll put you in touch with one nearby. They’re independent businesses rather than an approved installer scheme.
How much does it cost?
It depends on the area, the system and how much preparation the surface needs. Tell us about the room and we’ll give you a price.
