What Achtis does

We supply decorative microcements, lime plasters and paints, and resin flooring systems for commercial and domestic projects, indoors and out. Alongside the products we give technical advice on choosing the right system, and train installers to apply them.

How we started

We’ve worked with microcement since 1993. Seeing demand for hard, seamless floors in UK homes, we moved from construction into supplying products, then into making our own: Politura microcement and a range of epoxies and polyurethanes, supplied across the UK, to our sister company Achtis Benelux and to customers abroad. Achtis Group was established in 2015.

Our brands

We’re the UK distributor for two Italian specialists and distribute Shoe In Pro worldwide outside the Americas, alongside our own Politura range.

ErreLAB

Decorative resin systems that recreate microcement, stone and metallic finishes on floors, walls, wet rooms and outdoor spaces: epoxy for indoors and polyurethane for outdoors, including Spatolato, Velato, Pietra Continua and Metallo Continuo, plus the fast-curing acrylic ErreFast.

Rialto

Lime-based plasters and paints made to traditional Italian recipes, such as Epoca Marmo, Antiqua and Mediterraneo. Rialto is part of the Covema group, which has more than 50 years’ experience in decorative coatings.

Shoe In Pro

Hands-free, kick-on kick-off overshoes for site work, including the Finish and Spike. We distribute them everywhere outside the Americas.

Our Grimsby base has a showroom and training rooms. We run hands-on masterclasses, including the Stress-Free Microcement Masterclass (Politura and ErreFast) and the Microcement-Effect Resin Masterclass featuring ErreLAB Spatolato and Velato.

Shows and exporting

You’ll find us at UK trade shows, most recently the Surface Design Show in 2024 and 2025 and the Listed Property Show in 2024. Becoming a distributor for Shoe In Pro also took us to BAUMA 2018 and BAU 2019 with the Department for International Trade.

We were made an Export Champion for 2021/22 and now export to over 24 countries, including Korea, Japan and Australia.

Achtis group are a great company. I started using the Achtis microcement about four years ago and what made me choose them over other companies was the fantastic customer service from day one. Not only that, their system is easy to use with ‘just add water’ instead of having to add hardners and resins. This makes mixing on site and clean and fast. The colours come premixed (another blessing) and the quartz makes the cement extremely hard wearing whilst it is still very easy to sand. The results are beautiful too because the grains are small so you don’t get horrible ‘shutter marks’ which can really ruin a floor or feature wall.
