Travertino by Errelab is a textured, resin-based stone effect that faithfully mimics the timeless beauty of natural travertine. Applied in a single coat and finished with a hand-applied colour wash, it develops the distinctive light-and-shadow movement of genuine travertine while delivering the durability, stain resistance, and waterproof performance of the ErreLAB resin range.
Application
R303 BASE PIETRA – 143 (A+B) does not require dilution. The product must be applied in a single coat at a consumption rate of approximately 1.20 kg/m² using a stainless steel trowel, spreading it evenly.
While the material is still fresh, press the surface with the flat bottom of the trowel with firm, dense, and regular tapping movements to create visible irregularities and texture. Very lightly smooth some areas using perpendicular cross (checkerboard) movements to achieve an irregular alternation of beaten and unbeaten areas. The decorative shades are obtained using R745 TERRE COLORANT codes N24, N12, and N08.
Prepare 40 grams of R420 VELOPIETRA TR for each square meter of surface to be covered. In a separate container, prepare clean water equal to three times the weight of R420 VELOPIETRA TR. Add R745 TERRE COLORANT of the chosen colour at a rate of 2% by weight of R420 VELOPIETRA TR to the dilution water. Dissolve the colorant powder in the water by shaking vigorously, then gradually add R420 VELOPIETRA TR. Mix mechanically for at least 2 minutes until a homogeneous mixture is obtained.
Pour the prepared mixture onto the floor and distribute it evenly and abundantly using a microfiber mop until the entire surface is completely covered. Stir occasionally during application to maintain uniformity of the mixture.
When the surface is completely dry, protect it with a single coat of clear sealer R533 TOP-CLEAR OPACO, using a plastic trowel.

FINISHES
Three different protective, transparent finishes are available: Lucido (Glossy), Satinato (Satin), Opaco (Matt).
For the Pietra Continua range, ErreLAB recommends using Opaco (Matt) for the best aesthetic results.
