- Apply Rialto Veneziano Sottofondo with a stainless steel trowel.
- Leave for at least 24 hours, then sand by hand and remove any imperfections in the basecoat.
- Apply Rialto Veneziano with a stainless steel trowel or flexible spatula, following the classical technique for Venetian stuccowork.
- For a softer, cloudier (Annuvolato) effect, colour 3 parts Sottofondo with 1 part Veneziano of the same shade before applying the basecoat.
