Rialto Primer – Acrylic Based, Penetrating Primer

Penetrating and fixing colourless priming coat for interiors and exteriors

Based on an acrylic resin binder treated with selected additives for deep penetration and improved adhesion. Doubles as a binder for dusty gypsum plasterboard and gypsum walls, and for anchoring surfaces like polystyrene or polyester panels that have become dusty from UV exposure.

Working Instructions
  1. Remove any loose material, loose paint film or traces of mould with a hard bristle brush or scraper.
  2. Dilute with water according to the surface — exterior plaster 1:10, interior plaster/gypsum 1:8, old washable paint/tuff/brick/artificial stone 1:6.
  3. Apply with brush, roller or spray.
  4. On highly absorbent surfaces, apply two coats 3–4 hours apart. Do not create a surface film.
  5. Allow at least 6 hours to dry before applying finishing products.
  6. Do not apply in rainy weather, on frozen surfaces, or below 5°C (41°F) / above 35°C (95°F).
  7. Clean tools with water immediately after use.
  8. Store between 5°C (41°F) and 40°C (104°F).
